Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team for the summer. This is a remote position, and applicants must have their own equipment, including a computer and Adobe Creative Suite software. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced design environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to learn and grow as a designer. Occasional in-person meetings may be beneficial, and applicants should ideally be located near the Baltimore or Orlando area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of visual assets for various projects, including branding, marketing collateral, social media content, and website design.

• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute designs that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.

• Participate in design reviews and receive constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality of work.

• Support the production process by preparing files for print or digital delivery, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.

• Stay up-to-date on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong creative and conceptual skills with a portfolio showcasing design projects and creative abilities.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within project parameters.

• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for design.

Duration and Compensation

FOR FIRST TIME INTERNS

This opportunity is initially for a 120 credit hours/unpaid internship with the opportunity to transition into a paid position after completion. The duration will be approximately 8-12 weeks during the summer months. Exact schedule to be determined based on the candidate's availability and school curriculum. 

FOR INTERNS WITH PRIOR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

This role would convert into a paid opportunity. The duration will be approximately 8-12 weeks part time during the summer months. Exact schedule to be determined based on the candidate's availability.
